Electrical design and build for a new office space in Milton Keynes with long lasting LED lighting.
We carried out the Electrical Design and Build of this new office space in Milton Keynes. The client wanted LED lighting installed but was unsure about the life expectance and wanted reassurance so we sourced and specified light fittings manufactured by JCC. These were chosen due to their 7 year manufacturers guarantee and constant light across the 600x600 panels, unlike some of the cheaper panels which have hot spots around the edges.
We also specified the installation of skirting trunking which provides flexibility allowing the office layout to be altered and the addition of desks without the need for any building works and disruption.
Works included
New containment installed light duty cable trays and PVC skirting trunking.
Installation of new single phase distribution board SWA sub main from existing busbar.
Small power circuits socket outlets, electric heating and air conditioning condenser supplies.
General lighting controlled by PIR sensors installed using klicks marshalling boxes above a suspended ceiling.
Emergency lighting install throughout the area, controlled by local key switches.
Fire alarm system supply and commission of addition devices on an addressable system.
CAT5e Data cabling installation, all cabling was certified with a Fluke DTX cable analyser.
Emergency lighting alteration, electrical installation and fire alarm commissioning certificates issued on completion.
