Full electrical installation of a Mayfair Auction house including a new entrance, reception, galleries and restaurant.
We carried out the full electrical installation of this Mayfair Auction House creating a new entrance, reception, galleries and restaurant. Throughout the project we worked closely with the design team to ensure we delivered a space where every detail was thought out to meet the flexibility required for this magnificent multi use event space. Working hand in hand with our sub contractors we installed a lighting control system throughout, providing the client with the ability to change the feel of the space through a whole spectrum of colours and intensity of light so they can create whatever mood is required.
We also worked with our AV contractor to install a flexible system allowing different areas to be used as sale rooms, private bidding spaces, viewing Galleries and events where a musician could connect to the house system streaming the sound to a variety of different areas.
Works included
Relocation and identification of existing services.
Installation of new metal trunkings, trays & conduits throughout for new and existing services.
Installation of new sub mains and upgrades to distribution equipment including local ATS switches and controls for the standby generator.
Small power supplies to socket outlets, mechanical services, electric underfloor heating and installation of a UPS supplying all critical control and IT equipment.
Architectural lighting - we installed a range of dynamic white down lights, linear dynamic white and RGB LED coffer lighting, RGBW stair and skirting pocket lighting & lighting track complete with ETC framing lights with a gallery spec high CRI LED light source.
Emergency lighting as well as ETC & Helvar Lighting control systems, complete with tablet and keypad user interfaces. The system controls the lighting using DALI, DMX, 1-10V and trailing edge mains dimming.
Fire alarm installation, is a hybrid system which was part wired and part Vesda.
Crestron & Bose AV audio system as well as Voice & CAT6A Data installation using Fibre and copper. All cabling was certified with a Fluke DTX cable analyser.
