Installing smart home systems to control lighting, audio and heating throughout the property.
We carried out the Electrical Design and Build of this renovated home in Aspley Heath. The client remit was for a means of controlling lighting, audio and heating throughout the property without the expense of employing specialist controls contractors. We recommended the installation of the wireless Lutron RA2 system for the lighting, Heatmiser for the zoned underfloor heating system and Sonos amps with ceiling speakers for the Audio.
All of which can be seamlessly controlled and configured through app’s on mobile devices. In addition to controls via mobile devices the lighting and audio were controlled through keypads positioned throughout the property which the client was able to set various lighting scenes and play back modes on without the additional cost and return visits from controls companies.

Liaise with DNO and carry out the upgrade of the electrical supply from single phase to three phase to suite the additional new load.
Small power 13A sockets, cooking appliances, 3 phase supply for hot tub, air conditioning condensers and fan coils.
Internal LED lighting throughout was a combination of GU10 lamps and linear lighting within cupboards and shelving inside the house.
External lighting controlled in groups by astronomical clock within the Lutron app, using a combination of linear lights, wall lights and spike lights.
Installation of smart home accessories Lutron RA2, Heatmiser Neostat and Sonos.
CAT6 Data cabling installation, all cabling was certified with a Fluke DTX cable analyser.
Electrical installation, fire alarm certification and registered Part P building control.
